| Case in Point
Creative is the brainchild of Heather Keating and Emily
Chua, an idea born during their college days working together at
a popular restaurant in Baltimore’s Downtown Inner Harbor.
Heather was an aspiring graphic designer and photographer studying
at the distinguished Maryland Institute of College and Arts, and
Emily a business student concentrating in marketing and advertising
at nearby Towson University. A ten-year plan was created for the
two to one day open their own creative firm, with ample time allowed
for gaining industry experience, developing strong industry relationships,
and establishing successful careers for both.
Heather’s position with the Baltimore Office for the Promotion
and Arts enabled her to work on a wide variety of projects and amass
an impressive repertoire of works within a short period of time.
Emily held multiple marketing positions within highly recognized
companies such as AEGON and Intuit while simultaneously earning
an MBA from Loyola College, enabling her to rapidly grow her skill
set to include a number of areas from copywriting to marketing strategy
to new product development.
Before long, the two realized that their plans had been shifted
to the fast track, and that Case in Point Creative
was ready to be established well ahead of their target date. Today
the company is steadily adding to its list of clientele in and around
Baltimore, facilitating a variety of projects ranging from new advertising
to website design to branding/identity packages. Much of their success
can be attributed to word-of-mouth recommendations by satisfied
clients who are happy to pass the word along about this small but
talented company.
